Course/Class Description
This offering is for Open Water Diver Course OPTION 2/3 ONLY as local diving for the season has ended: The PADI Open Water Diver course includes three parts: Knowledge Development, Confined Water Dives, and Open Water Dives. Knowledge Development covers the principles, concepts and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment. During the Confined Water Dives, you learn and practice scuba skills in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. To complete training you practice, apply and demonstrate what you learn during four Open Water Dives at a local dive site.

This course runs on Monday & Wednesday nights for 2 consecutive weeks, immediately followed by Monday night on week 3. Class begins at 5:30pm each night.

If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you ̶ particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide. This course is an intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, if that’s your ultimate goal.
